Man Gunned Down Inside Car, Shooter Remains At Large

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) — Police are investigating a shooting that injured a man near Emma Prusch Farm Park in San Jose early Thursday morning.

The shooting was reported at about 5:50 a.m. near Thackeray Drive and Lido Way.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was near the front seat area of his green Toyota Paseo when the gunman pulled up in a Honda and fired a single shot, KPIX 5’s Kiet Do reports.

The victim was hit in the abdomen and stumbled about a block while calling 911.

He was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are considered serious but not life-threatening, police said.

The suspect or suspects fled before police arrived and remain at large Thursday morning.
