Crews Repairing Broken Water Main In San Francisco's Upper Castro
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS)_ San Francisco water crews are in the process of repairing a 6-inch water main that broke Tuesday in the city's Upper Castro neighborhood.
The break on Castro and 28th Street occurred about 3:38 p.m. and was shutoff about a half hour later.
A city spokesman told KCBS only a few homes in the area are without water service.
Crews expect to have the leak fixed and full-service restored by the evening.
