Couple Weds Next To King Wildfire In El Dorado County
EL DORADO COUNTY (CBS SF) -- A wildfire couldn't stand in the way of love.
California's largest fire burning in El Dorado County couldn't stop a couple from tying the knot.
The wedding ceremony took place just a few miles from the massive King Fire on Saturday.
"This is not something that would be abnormal for Roman and I," said bride Jamie Rudy. "We're kind of a fly by the seat of our pants kind of people."
The area where the rehearsal dinner and the wedding took place was evacuated at one point but people were allowed back in, just in time for the wedding.
