Man Shot Dead, Another Critically Injured At Howard Johnson Hotel In Vallejo
VALLEJO (CBS SF) -- Police are investigating a fatal shooting on Sunday in Vallejo.
Officers responded at 5:25 p.m. to a call of a shooting at the Howard Johnson Inn and Suites on Admiral Callaghan Lane, according to Vallejo police.
Police found a 23-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene and he was pronounced dead.
Police said a 72-year-old Vallejo man was transported to a hospital with injuries. The extent of his injuries was not immediately available and he is expected to survive.
The suspect or suspects fled the area prior to officers arriving, according to police.
