iPhone 6 Screen Too Big To Swipe? There's A Fake Thumb For That
(CBS SF) -- At first, tech reviewers thought the new iPhone 6 was too large for small hands and that Apple would see its first gender divide.
But that's not getting in the way of women, particularly in Asian counties, who are snapping up more of these "phablet" kind devices to replace both a phone and tablet.
To keep up with this growing trend of larger screens, Tokyo-based company Thanko designed a finger extender that gives hands an extra 15 millimeters of reach, allowing easy access to every corner of the display.
Thanko explains on its website the thumb is perfect for packed trains since commuters usually only have one hand available.
At $14, the handy gadget even looks like a real thumb with flesh-colored silicone for an au naturel look.
