6.2 Earthquake Shakes Area Northwest Of Anchorage, Alaska

WILLOW, Alaska (CBS SF) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 has struck Alaska Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake hit at 9:51 Pacific time about 80 miles northwest of Anchorage at a depth of the USGS said.
