Magnitude 3.9 Quake Strikes Near Willits

WILLITS (CBS SF) -- An earthquake registering a preliminary magnitude of 3.9 struck near Willits Saturday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey's automated seismograph alert network.

The earthquake struck at 8:45 a.m., about nine miles southwest of the Mendocino County town of Willits, at a depth of two miles.
