Levi's Stadium Neighbors Sound Off At Community Hearing

Residents said they weren't just concerned about the cars but the additional foot traffic as well.

"There is a lot of people walking through the neighborhood and I believe that the idea was to have people walking from the outside of the neighborhood so it doesn't interfere with the activity inside the neighborhood," one man said.

Others expressed anger about the aircraft noise on game days.

"We can't have brunches in our own backyard; we have to shut windows. What is going to be done in regards to addressing these city ordinances? How are you going to this?" another resident spoke out.

Jim Mercurio, the vice-president of the 49ers stadium operations, was present at the meeting.

"If we can make the changes and if we can make them, we will. And if we can't, we'll find out why. Maybe we'll compromise on some areas where we couldn't, but we'll take it very seriously like we always do," he said.

Mercurio said the issues brought up by residents will be factored into stadium management plans for future home games.
