Live 105's Spookfest Scares It's Way To The Top of EDM Scene

OAKLAND (CBS SF) – Long before EDM (electronic dance music) had become a household name, Bay Area radio station Live 105 were strong advocates and supporters of the underground electronic music scene. Dating back to the early origins of the station in the mid 80's.

"Subsonic," one of the countries longest-running electronic radio shows made its debut on the Bay Area airwaves in 1996 and has been an influential and pivotal EDM platform for over 15 years.

Derived from the insanely enormous crowd inside the BFD Subsonic Dance Tent, Live 105's impetus was simply to fuse together Halloween with a very passionate lifestyle and appetite for electronic music. Resulting in another cool and unique Live 105 concert event in Spookfest.
