Former SF First Lady: Young, 'Hot' Women Should Be Excused From Jury Duty To Spend Time On Tinder

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) - One-time first lady of San Francisco Kimberly Guilfoyle, now a Fox News Channel host, offered an interesting, perhaps offensive, explanation for why young, single women tend to vote for Democrats, and why they should be excused from jury service to spend time on Tinder and Match.com.

On Tuesday's edition of "The Five" on Fox News, talk about female voters in the upcoming mid-term elections turned to why young, single women do not vote Republican. A co-host suggested it was an issue of wisdom since women tend to vote more conservatively with age.

Guilfoyle, who was married to Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom when he was mayor of San Francisco, took that reasoning one step further.

"They're like, healthy and hot, and running around without a care in the world," she said, adding that's reason "why young women on juries are not a good idea. They don't get it. They're not in that same, like, life experience of paying the bills, doing the mortgage, kids, community, crime, education, health care."

Former SF First Lady Explains Why Young, 'Hot' Women Aren't Fit For Juries

The former San Francisco and Los Angeles prosecutor did clarify that young women should be called for jury service, but she believes attorneys should, "excuse them, so they can go back on Tinder or Match.com"
