SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — Giants fans celebrating the World Series win Wednesday night set fire to a couch in San Francisco’s Mission District.

Hundreds of fans gathered at Mission and 19th Streets around 9 p.m. and flooded the streets in celebration.

The Giants beat the Kansas City Royals 3-2 in Game 7 of the series.

WORLD SERIES CHAMPION GIANTS!

After the team won the series in 2012, vandals caused widespread damage in the city, including setting a Muni bus on fire.

Twitter users quickly shared pics of the mayhem in downtown.
