62 Sex-Offenders Arrested Halloween Night In Statewide Sweep Dubbed "Operation Boo"

SACRAMENTO (CBS) – California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation made 62 arrests during the 21st Annual Operation Boo Child Safety Project on Halloween night.

Weapons, drugs and child porn were confiscated during compliance checks and searches on more than 1200 sex-offender parolees.

Agents filed new charges against 10 of the parolees. Six were found to be out of compliance with the requirement to register as a sex offender.
