SF Proposition G, Property Tax To Discourage House-Flipping, Rejected By Voters
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- San Francisco Proposition G, which would impose an additional tax on the sales price of multi-unit property sold within five years of purchase, was defeated by voters on Tuesday.
With all 597 precincts reporting, No votes outnumbered Yes, 83,309 to 71,008.
The added tax would have been applied to sales or transfers made on or after January 1, 2015.
