Two Wounded In Separate Early Morning Shootings In San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Two people were wounded in separate shootings that happened in San Francisco between Friday afternoon and early Saturday morning, a police spokeswoman said.
On Friday, officers responded to a report of a shooting at Third Street and Quesada Avenue in the city's Bayview District around 3:40 p.m., police Sgt. Monica MacDonald said.
A male victim was grazed by a bullet and took himself to San Francisco General Hospital for injuries not considered life-threatening, she said.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Turk Street in the city's Tenderloin neighborhood shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday, according to MacDonald.
Arriving officers found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, MacDonald said.
It appears the victim was involved in argument over money with another person before being shot, she said.
The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for injuries not considered life-threatening, according to MacDonald.
No arrests were made and no suspect information was available for both shootings.
