SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- The San Francisco Fire Department pulled two people from the San Francisco Bay Wednesday, according to a spokeswoman.
A department representative said firefighters first responded to a report at 2:28 p.m. of a person in a kayak who had fallen overboard near the San Francisco Yacht Club.
A fire spokeswoman said the person was wearing a life jacket and was transported to the hospital following the incident. She said she could not release the gender or age of the person rescued.
Fire crews responded to a second report at 3:57 p.m. of a person who jumped into the water near the Ferry Building.
The spokeswoman said fire crews transported that person to the hospital as well.
