Fairfield Shooting Victims Walk Themselves Into Emergency Room
FAIRFIELD (CBS SF) -- Fairfield police are investigating a shooting that left two people with gunshot wounds Saturday evening, police said.
Police responded to a call from the Northbay Medical Center at 9:21 p.m. regarding two people who walked into the emergency room with gunshot wounds, police said.
When officers arrived, they found a vehicle in the parking lot with multiple bullet holes.
Police said officers contacted four people who were inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting, which the occupants said took place near the intersection of Sunset Avenue and E. Travis Boulevard.
The driver, a 26-year-old Fairfield man, suffered a single gunshot wound and an 18-year-old Fairfield woman, who was a passenger in the car, also suffered a single gunshot wound, police said.
Both are in stable condition and the two other occupants were unharmed, police said.
