Window Washer Endures Surgeries, Remains In Critical Condition After 11-Story Fall From San Francisco Building
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS)__ A window washer who survived an 11-story fall in San Francisco's Financial District last Friday continues to recover, but remains in critical condition.
The man's family released a statement Monday that said he's had several surgeries, but is doing a little better. They add that he sometimes is able to open his eyes when they talk to him.
The family does not want to be identified, but have said the victim of the fall is 58-years-old, has a wife and three daughters and that he lives in the Bay Area.
They thanked everyone at the scene who rushed to help him, especially a nurse who happened to be on scene, the firefighters and even the driver of the car that broke his fall.
