BART Back On Time After Police Pull Woman From Tracks In Richmond
RICHMOND (CBS SF) -- BART delays have subsided Tuesday morning after police were called to the Richmond Station due to a woman on the tracks, a police lieutenant said.
BART police responded a short time before 8 a.m. to reports of a woman on the trackway at the station and were able to pull her from the tracks without incident, according to BART police Lt. Aaron Ledford.
She was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
The police activity temporarily caused delays of about 10 to 15 minutes in both the Fremont and Millbrae directions.
