Daughter Of San Francisco 49ers GM Rips Offensive Coordinator Greg Roman On Twitter, Trent Baalke Issues Apology

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York was not the only one to take to Twitter on Thursday. Here's the reaction York had to his team's 19-3 loss at home to division rival Seattle:

After the game, several players on the 49ers agreed with that assessment, including quarterback Colin Kaepernick.  "I didn't play well tonight," he said. "If your quarterback doesn't play well, it's going to be hard for you to win games."

Cassie Baalke, the daughter of San Francisco 49ers General Manager Trent Baalke, also went on social media, expressing her disappointment in 49ers Offensive Coordinator Greg Roman.  She has since deleted not only the tweet, but her Twitter account. (screengrab courtesy of 49ersnews.com)

On Friday, Trent Baalke issued an apology in a short statement.  "My daughter and I both regret that her feelings got the best of her after last night's game, and that she chose social media as an avenue to express her feelings. We have apologized to Greg for this unfortunate matter. While disappointed, as a father I will use this as a teachable moment to help my daughter grow."
