Protests In Solidarity With Michael Brown Planned In Bay Area Shopping Areas On Black Friday
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- The protesters showing solidarity with Michael Brown will be out among Bay Area shoppers on Black Friday.
A demonstration is planned at San Francisco's Union Square during the Macy's annual tree lighting ceremony. A protest is also planned in Emeryville at the Bay Street shopping mall.
Friday's protests come in the wake of calls across social media for a mass retail boycott on Black Friday #BlackoutBlackFriday.
