Immigrants To Get DMV Help At New License Processing Center In San Jose

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) - A New Department of Motor Vehicle office is open for the first time Monday in San Jose.

The driver license processing center on Senter Road is geared, in part, to help undocumented immigrants.

Starting in January, immigrants can get licenses if they verify their identities and countries of origin.

The facility has 40 touch-screen exam terminals and 42 license application processing stations.
