Window Washer Who Fell 11 Stories In SF Is Off Breathing Machine, Talking
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) -- The window washer who fell 11 stories onto a car in San Francisco's Financial District is still in critical condition, but he is improving.
Fifty-year-old Pedro Perez of San Leandro fell about 130 feet while washing the windows of 400 Montgomery Street on November 21st.
He has undergone several surgeries at San Francisco General Hospital.
According to one of his daughters, Perez suffered internal bleeding as well as a broken arm and fractured pelvis.
In a televised interview, she said he is off a breathing machine and he is talking.
