When Will The Wind Blow The Hardest During Thursday's Pacific Storm
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Thursday's powerful Pacific storm will bring powerful wind gusts throughout the day, with the strongest gusts topping 50 miles per hour.
Wind gusts could reach 46 miles per hour in the Half Moon Bay Area around 4 a.m. once the storm makes landfall.
The wind will pick up as the morning commute gets into full swing.
By 8 a.m., a large swath of the Bay Area stretching from Santa Rosa in the north to San Jose in the south will likely be experiencing gusts over 40 miles per hour.
As the morning continues, and the storm moves south wind gusts will slow in the North Bay.
The worst of the storm will likely be over by the afternoon, with gusts in the 20 mile per hour range across the Bay Area forecast for 2 p.m.
