Healdsburg Merchants Inspect Flood Damage Downtown

HEALDSBURG (KCBS) -- The small, farm town of Healdsburg felt the impact of the storm early Thursday morning as the downtown area was flooded during the storm.

Dozens of stores along Healdsburg Avenue and surrounding streets were inundated with 2 to 3 feet of water after about four hours of constant rain. The damage assessment is still going on with merchants inspecting the carpeting and walls of their shops

While the water was receding by 10 a.m., cars that had stalled out in the flooded streets still sat.
