San Jose Police Arrest Alleged Serial Burglar

SAN JOSE (KCBS) — San Jose police arrested a burglary suspect they allege was involved in as many as twenty home burglaries over the last few weeks.

Sgt. Heather Randoll told KCBS that 19-year-old Jacob Breschi was arrested on Wednesday.

Randoll said Breschi can be tied to 13 break-ins in the Foothill and Southern districts of San Jose and is suspected in several more.

She says the search continues for everything that was stolen, including some firearms.

"Certainly they are looking to recover as much of the property as they can and there were two guns taken in two separate incidences so certainly, we're hoping to locate those," Randoll said.

Randoll said Breschi's arrest is expected to end this recent burglary spree. But she advises residents to remain vigilant and to keep their doors locked and their valuables hidden.
