Daily Madden: Can The Raiders Beat The Chiefs Twice?

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) - The Oakland Raiders are coming off an emotionally-charged victory over the San Francisco 49ers, their second win of the season.

"They beat two pretty good teams," John Madden told the KCBS Radio morning crew. "They beat the Kansas City Chiefs in that Thursday night game. And then of course they beat the 49ers last week. So it's not like they're beating the Jacksonville Jaguars or something. So now they're going to find out what it's like to play a team that they've already beaten when they go to Kansas City this weekend."

Despite their previous win over the Chiefs, the Raiders are 10 point underdogs.

"You keep feeling that they're going to bounce back," Madden said of the 7-6 Chiefs. "It's the same feeling you have with the 49ers...The Raiders already proved that they can beat (the Chiefs), and the way they did it last time was they were able to run the ball and stop the run. Kansas City is that type of team. Everything that they do offensively comes off the run. And if you can stop that right off the bat, you can get them. And that's exactly what the Raiders did. Now, Kansas City knows that this time too." (6:30)
