Korean Singer Accused Of Drunken Air Rage On Flight To SFO

SAN FRANCISCO INT'L AIRPORT (KPIX 5) – A popular South Korean singer could face charges in an alleged incident of drunken rage on a flight to San Francisco International Airport Wednesday.

According to Korean news network YTN, 41-year-old Bobby Kim was on a Korean Air flight from Incheon International Airport to San Francisco on Wednesday.

Five hours into the flight, Kim reportedly became very drunk and started screaming in the cabin, which apparently went on for an hour. He then allegedly sexually harassed a flight attendant by wrapping his arm around her waist.

Kim was questioned by the FBI after the plane landed at SFO. Korean Air has filed a complaint against the singer, and he could face charges in the United States and South Korea.

The singer's publicist told YTN that Kim was upset that he was given an economy class seat, even though he supposedly bought a seat in business class. Kim's publicist went on to say that the singer will stop appearing on TV shows and return to South Korea for police questioning.

Wednesday's alleged incident took place a month after a Korean Air executive disrupted a flight after she was served bagged macadamia nuts instead of nuts on a plate.
