5 Publications Trying Hardest To Jinx The Warriors' Title Chances

OAKLAND (CBS SF) - NBA watchers slammed the Golden State Warriors in the offseason after failing to swing a deal for forward Kevin Love. But after a 33-6 start, nobody's complaining about the front office moves anymore - quite the opposite, actually. Now anytime we post something to social media about how great the Warriors are we get Facebook comments accusing us of jinxing them. Well, we aren't alone. Here are some of the other folks who could be accused of "trying to jinx" the league-leading Warriors out of winning the title:

1 - ESPN - Warriors Could Run Away With Title
Yikes, that's a headline no Warriors fan thought they would ever read before this year. Author Kevin Pelton points out that if the Dubs keep up this level of performance they will have the second highest point differential (average points that they outscore opponent by) in league history, only a shade behind the 72-game-winning Bulls.

2 - Fox Sports - Warriors Near Impossible To Contain
The latest NBA Power Rankings from Fox Sports declares Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson as the best shooting backcourt of all time. Fans on the website appear to agree,  with the statement getting a big thumbs up from their online audience.

3 - San Jose Mercury News - Warriors Break Oppponents' Wills
Columnist Marcus Thompson II points out that things have been downright boring at some recent games given the team's killer instinct kicking in and leading to huge blowouts. He says it's an attacking defense, not the outside shooting that puts this team at the top of the league's elite.

4 - Bleacher Report - Are The Hawks Really As Good As The Warriors?
This is a big sign that the Warriors have arrived. Opposing fanbases are comparing their team to the Warriors in hopes of measuring up to the best? However, that story ends with the following line "As good as the Hawks have been of late, Golden State is just flat-out better, and it frankly isn't all that close."

5 - Bovada - Warriors Own Best Odds Of Winning Title
Gaming website Bovada's latest numbers put the Warriors as the favorites to take home the NBA title this year at 5-1, just ahead of the Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs. Prior to the season Las Vegas oddsmakers pegged the Warriors as a 25-1.

Fortunately for the Warriors, there are still those out there, including James Harden, who say the Warriors "Aren't Even That Good."
