San Francisco State Of Mind: Billy Joel Concert Set For September 5 At AT&T Park

SAN FRANCISO (CBS SF) – Billy Joel will be back in San Francisco in 2015, as he will be performing a live concert at AT&T Park in San Francisco on Saturday, September 5.

Another Planet Entertainment and Giants Enterprise made the announcement Wednesday morning. This is the only date Joel will perform in the state of California this year.

"We are thrilled to host Billy Joel at AT&T Park for the first time in his illustrious career," said Giants President and CEO Larry Baer. "It's hard to believe it's been more than four decades since Billy last played in the city of San Francisco, but I'm confident The City will welcome him with open arms."

Joel is currently playing an unprecedented run of 23 consecutive sold out concert dates at New York's Madison Square Garden, and has also been tapped as a headliner at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee in June.

Tickets will be available to the general public starting on Friday, January 30 beginning at 10:00 a.m.
