Man Barricades Himself In House In Standoff With Police In San Francisco's Ingleside Neighborhood

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS/BCN) — San Francisco police were negotiating with a barricaded suspect Friday morning in the city's Ingleside neighborhood.

Police were called to the area of Grafton and Ashton avenues around 6:10 p.m. Thursday on a report of a family argument.

The situation escalated and a suspect is now barricaded in a two-story home, although police are unclear whether the suspect is armed.

The police deployed a hostage team an officer at the scene told KCBS that the man has not been talking despite having a mobile phone thrown through a window.

There have been no injuries reported.

Police remain on the scene and negotiations are ongoing.
