Woman Killed In San Jose Hit And Run Collision
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A woman was killed in a hit-and-run collision on Almaden Expressway in San Jose Friday evening, according to police.
The collision near Via Monte Drive was reported at 6:18 p.m., according to Officer Albert Morales.
The vehicle fled south and the victim, an adult female, was declared dead at the scene, Morales said.
Investigators remain at the scene. Police have not yet released any suspect information.
