Man Survives Afternoon SF Tenderloin Stabbing; Won't Cooperate With Police Investigation
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF)_ A man was stabbed in the upper body in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood on Monday afternoon but is unwilling to cooperate in the investigation into the case, police said.
The stabbing was reported at about 4:55 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of Hyde Street, about two blocks from United Nations Plaza, according to police.
The victim, a man in his late 40s, suffered a puncture wound to his upper body. He was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening, police said.
Police said the suspect in the stabbing has not been arrested.
A motive for the stabbing remains under investigation.
