7 Super Bowl Ads People Are Already Talking About

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - Christmas shopping starts well ahead of Thanksgiving these days, so should we wait until AFTER the Super Bowl to debate the best commercials from the big game? Here are seven of the commercials that have been making the rounds all week ahead of the Patriots-Seahawks showdown.

Let's start off with the serious one. The Super Bowl commercial by No More, the group trying to end domestic violence and sexual assault, is a stark contrast to ads in recent months bringing attention to the issue.

The most controversial ad so far comes from GoDaddy, which has decided not to air their planned ad. After being shown online the ad 'Journey Home' received a flood of criticism from animal rescue groups. Check it out:

Another website platform, Wix has pulled out just about every NFL from your childhood and lets you know they've found 2nd careers on the Internet. Brett Favre and charcuterie? Yup.

Seattle running back Marshawn Lynch, who played college football at Cal, is notorious for his hatred of press conferences. He has skipped them and gotten fined, attended but only gave monosyllabic answers, and at this year's media day he answered every question with, "I'm here so I won't get fined." But for skittles - his favorite snack and one that fans throw his way during games - he'll talk.

Kim Kardashian is a little less shy about cameras, and she's fine with that. She even has a sense of humor about it. At least I think that's what's going on here.

For fans of fine food, this one is a beautiful showcase of a farmer's market, and an all-natural burger, but Carl's marketing team of course took the all natural theme into a "naturist" motif.

It may not be about beer at all, but Budweiser might have this year's most memorable commercial with their "Lost Dog" campaign. It also features a Clydesdale, so if you are playing Super Bowl bingo, you really need to catch this one.
