Pot Smokers Can Now Find The Perfect Date With Tinder-Like App 'High There!'
DENVER (CBS SF) - Online dating has long been dominated by websites like Match.com and eHarmony. But now, dating apps like Tinder are becoming more and more popular.
Some dating apps are even targeting specific audiences. The latest example is "High There!" which gives users a chance to connect with fellow pot smokers in their area.
Like Tinder and many other dating apps, users create a profile and are able to click or swipe through potential matches. On High There!, you can list your preference. Maybe you're more into vaping over smoking. Do you like the outdoors? And what is your energy level like when you're high? It's all part of the process of connecting users with like-minded cannabis consumers.
And the app is not just for dating. It can allow users to connect with the marijuana community online – maybe a patient who uses medicinal marijuana is trying to find help with how to cope with their condition, or a person is looking for a place to buy marijuana legally in their area.
The app, which is currently free for Android users, will roll out shortly to Apple's App Store. For now, it is only available in states where marijuana use is legal or legal for medicinal use.
