San Jose Police Identify Suspects Arrested In Killing Of Security Guard

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- San Jose police Friday identified two suspects arrested Wednesday on suspicion of fatally shooting a 34-year-old security guard last weekend.

San Jose residents Juan Hernandez, 22, and Richard Cruz, 20, were arrested for the killing of Manuel Zuniga, who was found shot in the 300 block of North Capitol Avenue at 9:44 p.m. last Saturday, police said.

Zuniga was working as a security guard at a nearby business when he was shot. He was taken to a hospital but died from his injuries a short time later, police said.

Police booked Hernandez and Cruz into Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of murder.
