SF Transit Officials And Entertainment Board Members Aim To Improve Late-Night Transportation System

A new report by a whole host of San Francisco nightlife, safety, and transportation officials has found that the current late night public transportation system has been described as extremely inefficient, unreliable, and at times, unsafe.

It's a major qualm, both for the younger city revelers, who limit their late night activities due to poor mobility within San Francisco and the Bay Area, as well as many, many local residents, who work the graveyard shifts late into the night or early into the morning.

Today, a coalition unveiled their report, which was derived from more than 2,800 survey responses in hopes thatcity officials may finally improve SF's late night public transportation options. Well-researched and easy to read, the report also makes recommendations on actions to take moving forward, and offers reasoning for why those action needs to be taken immediately.
