Elderly Man Crashes Car Through Window At Starbucks In Cupertino

CUPERTINO (CBS SF) -- A Starbucks store in Cupertino has been closed Saturday after an elderly man crashed his car into the business leaving one person injured, a sheriff's spokesman said.

Shortly after 9 a.m., the man drove his car into a Starbucks located at South De Anza and Stevens Creek boulevards, Santa Clara County sheriff's Sgt. James Jensen said.

The car drove through a window at the store leaving one person with minor injuries, Jensen said.

The injured person was transported to a hospital for treatment, he said.

Jensen did not know of any other injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
