Worker At Pleasanton Preschool Accused Of Lewd Acts With A Child
PLEASANTON (CBS SF) – Police have arrested an employee of a Pleasanton preschool on suspicion of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14.
According to a statement from Pleasanton Police, 22-year-old Alexander Kurtz of Castro Valley was arrested last Thursday around 3:00 p.m.
Police said Kurtz is suspected of sexually abusing a teenage girl at Building Kidz Preschool, where Kurtz had worked, sometime in 2014. The girl was a former student of the school, when it was known as Busy Bees.
According to police, no current students are suspected to have been involved. The preschool has since terminated Kurtz' employment.
The Alameda County District Attorney's officially filed one charge against Kurtz on Monday. It is unclear when Kurtz would be arraigned.
