Fire Burns Along I-880 In San Leandro Area, Sending Thick Smoke Into Air
SAN LEANDRO (CBS SF) -- A fire burning near I-880 and I-238 in the San Leandro area Monday afternoon, sent thick smoke into the air.
Vegetation and trees along the freeway were burning. Traffic flowed through the area as the fire burned, but the CHP shut down two lanes so that firefighters could work to put the fire out.
