San Jose Police Seek Suspects In 2 Fatal Overnight Shootings

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- The San Jose Police Department is investigating two shooting deaths that happened within hours of each other.

The first shooting occurred Friday at 10:20 p.m. in the 2100 block of Terilyn Avenue.

Officers responded to a report of a man who had been shot and located a 17-year-old victim on the sidewalk suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene, police said.

The second shooting occurred Saturday morning at 2:24 a.m. in the area of South Second and San Carlos streets.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting and located a man suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.

The victim was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Police said the circumstances surrounding the shootings remain unknown at this time, and the suspects have not been located.
