Woman Killed, Two Injured In SF Western Addition Shooting

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A woman was killed and two other people were injured in a shooting in San Francisco's Western Addition neighborhood on Saturday night, police said.

The shooting was reported around 11 p.m. Saturday in the area of Eddy and Buchanan streets. Officers arrived to find the three victims on the ground and suffering from gunshot wounds, according to police.

The three victims were taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where a 19-year-old woman later identified by the medical examiner's office as Ranisha Raven was pronounced dead.

The two other victims, a man in his 30s and a 16-year-old girl, were treated for injuries not considered life-threatening, police said.

No arrests had been made in the shooting as of this morning and no suspect information was immediately available, according to police.
