Firefighters Rescue Horse Trapped In Old Well For 13 Hours

FRESNO (CBS SF) -- Central California firefighters rescued a horse that fell into a 16-foot deep well full of sewage Sunday.

It happened on a ranch in the town of Orosi, in Tulare County.

The 1000-pound horse was in the hole for 13 hours before rescuers arrived.

According to the Fresno Bee, they used a crane to lift the horse to safety.
