FREMONT (CBS SF) -- A man was injured when a woman fleeing Fremont police crashed her car into his Monday morning, according to police.

Officers tried to pull the 31-year-old woman over at about 10:20 a.m. because she was driving a car with stolen license plates, police said.  The woman fled and crashed into another car near the corner of Fremont Boulevard and Walnut Avenue.

The woman then ran from the crashed car but was arrested after a brief foot chase. Both she and the male driver of the second car were taken to a hospital for treatment, police said.
