Fairfield Shooting Leaves Man Injured

FAIRFIELD (CBS SF) -- A man was shot Sunday morning in Fairfield, according to police.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of N. Texas Street and Atlantic Avenue at 10:48 a.m.

Once on scene they found a 24-year-old resident of Fairfield who was transported to a hospital with injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening, police said.

A vehicle thought to belong to the victim was towed from the scene as evidence, according to police.
