Man Arrested For Public Drunkenness, Parole Violation, Warrants At Oakland BART Station
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- BART police arrested a man for public drunkenness, a parole violation and warrants Sunday afternoon on a BART train at the 19th Street station in Oakland, police said.
The incident began at about 4:10 p.m. after police got a call from passengers who said a man was acting erratically and might have a knife, BART police Lt. Randy Gregson said.
Officers found he did not have a knife when they arrested him, Gregson said.
BART officials held the train for about three minutes as police located the man, he said.
