SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A third suspect in the brutal murder of a man in a San Jose office park has been arrested days after his two alleged accomplices were shot dead by police in separate incidents.

In a brief statement issued Wednesday by San Jose Police, the suspect was identified as 42-year-old San Jose resident Duane Aguero who was arrested on August 27.

His identity had been unknown publicly, even as police urged him to surrender following the killing of 38-year-old Christopher Wrenn who was methodically hunted down at the Lundy Ave. offices in a murder police characterized as "horrific."

Aguero is allegedly the man seen on surveillance video wearing a mask while his two alleged accomplices, 29-year-old Matthew Castillo and 40-year-old Richard Jacquez, were not.

Castillo was shot dead on August 16th by officers who had attempted to arrest him. Police reported he did not comply with demands and took out a handgun before he was shot. an account corroborated by witnesses.

The next day, a police officer shot and killed Jacquez as he tried to evade arrest. The initial San Jose Police account of the shooting indicated Jacquez was reaching for his waistband as he was shot. The department backtracked on that assertion a day later, saying Jacquez was running away from officers and was unarmed when he was shot.
