Police Looking For 3 Bronze Sculptures Stolen From SF Art Exhibit

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Police are looking for the public's assistance in locating sculptures recently stolen from a public art exhibition in San Francisco.

On Sept. 4, promoters of an art exhibit at the Harry Bridges Plaza in front of the Ferry Building noted three bronze sculptures has been stolen from the exhibit, polices said.

The sculptures were part of a four-piece set that had been contained in a larger bronze cube.

Police said it is possible the stolen sculptures may have been taken to a pawnshop or collector's display, but it is also possible they will end up at a metal recycler.

Anyone with information on the sculptures' whereabouts is asked to call police at (415) 345-2400.
