Man Knocked Unconscious In Petaluma Assault
PETALUMA (CBS SF) -- Police are investigating a felony assault that occurred Sunday morning in Petaluma after man was attacked and knocked unconscious.
Around 2 a.m., the victim was fishing on the Petaluma River near the Petaluma Marina boat entrance when two unknown Hispanic men approached and attacked him, police said.
The suspects knocked the victim unconscious and caused significant injuries to his face, police said.
The victim waited several hours before reporting the assault, police said.
