4 Still In Critical Condition After Friday's Tour Bus Crash In SF Union Square

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS/AP) -- Four people remain in critical condition a day after a double-decker tour bus crashed in San Francisco's popular and crowded Union Square.

San Francisco General Hospital spokesman Brent Andrew said two men and two women are in critical condition. Two other men are in serious condition.

He declined to share any details about a minor who was also admitted to the hospital Friday night.

Andrew said victims suffered facial and head injuries, as well as fractures to arms, legs and ribs. Some have internal injuries.

Witnesses say the tour bus came roaring over two city blocks Friday. It ran down a bicyclist, hit at least two pedestrians and struck several cars before it plowed into scaffolding lining a construction site.

About 20 people were hurt in the crash that happened just before 3 p.m. Police said six had been injured critically.
