1 Hospitalized, 1 Detained After Shooting In San Francisco's Potrero Hill Neighborhood

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- One person is hospitalized and one person has been detained following a shooting in San Francisco's Potrero Hill neighborhood Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The shooting at Watchman Way and Missouri Street near the 22nd Street Caltrain station was reported at 2:50 p.m. through the ShotSpotter gunshot detection system and a subsequent 911 call, police spokeswoman Officer Grace Gatpandan said.

Officers arriving at the scene found a male victim with a gunshot wound to the torso. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment and Gatpandan did not have an update on his condition as of around 4:15 p.m.

One suspect was detained at the scene. More details about the case were not immediately available.
